Harrison is an operator with deep experience building and scaling high-growth startups, bringing a rare combination of operational rigor, product judgment, and cross-functional leadership. A graduate of the University of Michigan with a BA in Sport Management and dual minors in Entrepreneurial Studies and Real Estate Development, he entered the startup ecosystem immediately after graduation and joined Betr as employee number eight. Working inside a company from its earliest stages shaped his operator-first mindset and instilled a bias toward execution, ownership, and durable systems.
Over three years at Betr, Harrison became a core operator across product, media operations, growth, acquisition, and retention. He owned critical pieces of the company’s operating cadence, led multiple P&L-impacting functions, and built foundational processes that enabled rapid scale. As the business expanded, he served as connective tissue across teams, stepping into ambiguous, high-leverage problems and driving initiatives through moments of rapid growth, organizational change, and increased complexity. His ability to impose structure, move quickly, and execute across functions made him one of the most relied-upon operators in the organization.
At GCV, Harrison runs the firm’s operational and financial infrastructure end to end. He oversees fund operations, investor onboarding, portfolio systems, reporting, and internal processes, while working directly with founders on operations, product execution, organizational design, compliance, and day-to-day decision-making. Known for his precision, breadth, and founder-first approach, Harrison serves as a primary operational partner to portfolio companies and the central point of contact for onboarding and ongoing support across the platform.
